Pine Harbor Wood Products Company History

In 1973 a tornado blew through parts of western Massachusetts. On our family farm, the storm destroyed 45 acres of pristine White Pine Forest, most of which surrounded a small inlet we called the harbor. This is where our namesake began. We established a sawmill on our property to turn this destruction into something positive. After moving our sawmill to old Cape Cod in 1978, we began to bring beautiful White Pine boards and beams to our Cape Cod customers. Our production soon outran the demand so we created our first garden shed.

Since that cold January day in 1980, we have constructed thousands of garden sheds and outbuildings throughout New England for satisfied clients. To this day, our rugged post & beam sheds separate us from the competition. Our standard and custom designed sheds offer a unique balance of function and fashion to meet all of your storage needs.

The factory pre-cut shed kits save time and most installations take only a day. Our reputation for quality products coupled with fair pricing and our on time installations is second to none.

In addition to our smaller buildings, we also offer larger post and beam barns, garages and custom large buildings. We have built hundreds of different large post and beam buildings to suit the many different needs of our customers. The scope of these projects includes barns and garages, horse barns, custom home office buildings and studios, retail buildings, camps and bunkhouses, guest houses, maple sugar shacks, and many other uses. Our operations facility in Harwich, Massachusetts produces all of our buildings with state of the art equipment designed to produce the highest quality buildings. Over the years our operation has evolved from old fashioned manual equipment to computerized systems at our 3+ acres manufacturing facility located in Harwich, MA. We are committed to constantly upgrading and improving our facilities, buildings and product line.
